18 February 2014 – Palm Oasis Ventures has today announced two additions to its senior management team with the appointment of David Jordan as General Manager and Ben Flintoff as National Operations Manager.

Palm Oasis Ventures is a joint venture between Galadari Brothers Group and Dunkin’ Brands Group, Inc. In his new role as General Manager, Jordan will be responsible for driving the growth of the Baskin-Robbins ice-cream brand across Australia and will report directly to Khaled Soliman – Chairman, Palm Oasis Ventures and Chief Executive Officer, Galadari Brothers Group.

“I’m excited to be joining Palm Oasis Ventures at such an important time in the growth of both the Palm Oasis Ventures and Baskin-Robbins brands, and look forward to working with the team and our existing franchisees to drive business success,” says Jordan.

Based in Brisbane, Jordan comes to Palm Oasis Ventures with more than 15 years’ experience in the hospitality, franchise and hotel sectors at both operational and strategic levels, with national and international exposure. Jordan’s most recent appointments include CEO for Beard Papa Australia, Group General Manager for Katarzyna Group, and most recently as Operations Manager for Coles.

In addition to Jordan’s appointment, Palm Oasis Ventures welcomes back Ben Flintoff, former Queensland Operations Manager for Baskin-Robbins. After a stint as the Queensland State Manager for Noodle Box, Flintoff will return to Baskin-Robbins to oversee operations across the 79 franchised and corporate Baskin-Robbins Parlours in Australia.

Khaled Soliman, Chairman, Palm Oasis Ventures and CEO, Galadari Brothers Group, comments on the new appointments.

“We look forward to the contribution and expertise David and Ben will bring to the existing team, and the continued success of Palm Oasis Ventures, and welcome them to the wider Galadari Brothers Group,” said Soliman.

John Varughese, Dunkin Brands Inc., Vice President – Middle East, Southeast Asia, India & Australia, also comments on the new appointments and the partnership with the Galadari Brothers Group.

“We are confident that the new Palm Oasis team will continue to provide success stories adding to our historic milestones of success through Galadari Brothers Group,“ said Varughese.

Previous General Manager, Roger Mussalli resigned from Palm Oasis Ventures earlier this month to pursue other career opportunities outside of the Galadari Brothers Group.
